MYTH: TVP is a techno-dictatorship. Computers will run everything and everyone!!! FACT: Nothing could be further from the truth. Heres what Jacque has said about the issue during teamspeak seminars... (1) Does cybernated government tell you what to do? No! It only informs you as to whats available, what we know, and what we dont know. ~ Jacque Fresco, teamspeak seminar, July 31 2011 Source: youtu.be/Xl7J853zTPw… (2) If you dont want to wear the clothing recommended, thats up to you. You dont have to conform. You can wear any kind of clothing you want to. You can believe in any religion you want to, but you cannot superimpose your values on tele-communication systems. You can tell people what you believe and why you believe it, but you cant twist anyones arms or force anyone into your point of view. ~ Jacque Fresco, teamspeak seminar, August 14, 2011 Source: youtu.be/YFSFEbX_7JI… (3) Corcen does not control people. It merely makes suggestions from a wide range of collected information, and the information it collects is always relevant, has been tested and tried, and it tells you how many ships are available, how many freight trains are available, how many doctors there are, and the best and latest treatment for physical disorders. It gives you information only, and when it doesnt have information it tells you that we have to do further studies on that, in order to arrive at a more appropriate decision. It does not make decisions, it arrives at them. ~ Jacque Fresco, TVP Teamspeak3 seminar, October 2nd 2011 Source: youtu.be/VozbZ6otmFk… (4) People that design automated food production and packaging systems do not tell you how to live or what to do. They stay within that discipline, unless you ask questions about it. ~ Jacque Fresco, Teamspeak seminar, June 12 2011 Source: youtu.be/IkqJC2bgQrw… (5) All decisions will be arrived at, rather than made. Meaning, knowing what the conditions are and whats available: Transportation, units to bring materials to a given place. But it have to be all collected, all that data. Your decisions are based on the data you collect, not your own feelings. ~ Jacque Fresco, teamspeak seminar, June 19 2011 Source: youtu.be/VW4AOV1SoFo… #### (Further reading) (6) This is not a dictatorship, this is based upon scientific evidence to support a given project. If you want to put up a building, say half a mile high, the material has to be available. Using statistics is not a dictatorship. Its a method of getting the most from existing resources. - Jacque Fresco, Dec 4 2011 Source: youtu.be/5xfSi7QK60w… (7) Each system will depend on resources available, not from the bottom up or top down. In other words, if you put 500 passengers in an airplane thats designed to carry 100, it wont get off the ground. So all decisions are made based upon the physical equipment youre working with, or the environmental resources available. Theyre not made by Fresco or any other person. Theyre arrived at by studies and research. ~ Jacque Fresco, TVP seminar, September 4th, 2011 Source: youtu.be/Hiqzr2s4sao… (8) Whatever I decide will not work. Its what people want that will work. So no one decided whether you become a vegetarian or anything else. What determines that is the availability of food. If we run out of vegetation due to floods or natural disasters, people will consume meat and if we run out of meat they will consume vegetables. I have no control over that. That would be up to people. ~ Jacque Fresco, TVP seminar, September 18, 2011 Source: youtu.be/QRAWflHziEk… (9) The decisions are not up to computers. Theyre based on what the computer senses in the environment. If it senses obnoxious or poisonous gas, an alarm goes off and awakens you. So, these machines do not make decisions; they sense threats in the environment. In other words, if theres a traffic accident on the highway all the machine will do is tell you that the highway is not accessible, that you take route number five. That will get you to your destination. Its not the machines making decisions, its machines responding to problems in the environment. ~ Jacque Fresco, TVP online Seminar, July 10 2011 Source: youtu.be/vkX77nCk-Cs… (10) It isnt the machines that make the decisions. The programs are preset for the machines. For example, if you have seven thousand people that need houses then the machines contact the housing system and indicate how many houses are needed in each given area. That is already known as based on the work of the survey committee. When the survey committee tells us, we need so much food, so much water, so much clothing, all that is just like the military system or a boat that has a thousand passengers on the liner. If you have a thousand passengers you order so much water, so much food. If you have two thousand passengers, the people that operate the liner now know just what is needed to handle two thousand passengers. Thats pre-programmed. All that the computers do is carry out the programs which are initiated for them. ~ Jacque Fresco, teamspeak seminar, July 24 2011 Source: youtu.be/YGzKzBYeQpE…
