Ma Cong received the Choo-San Goh Award for best choreography in 2007. In 2008 he was awarded 1st prize and Audience Favorite in the 21st Century Choreographic Competition. Mr. Cong has created many works for Tulsa Ballet including Folia, Samsara, Blood Rush, and a brand new Carmina Burana for Tulsa Ballets 50th Anniversary celebration. He has also created works including Within the Bodies, Fragmented Figures, French Twist, and Two of Us for BalletMet, Ballet Des Moines and Ballet Nouveau Colorado.
