Maa and I took up this Sunday afternoon project...turned out to be awesome :) Hope you guys enjoy! Choco-White Roshogolla Ingredients: - 1 liter full cream milk - 2-3 Tablespoon of white vinegar - 1.25 cup sugar - 2.5 cups water - 3 Tablespoon Cocoa/Drinking chocolate powder - 1-2 Teaspoon on Maida (Optional) Recipe: - Boil milk and make Chenna with the white vinegar. - Strain the water from the chenna and let it stand and cool for a while. - Kneed the chenna for 10 mins, until it becomes super soft and oily. If your dough is not holding together, you can sprinkle some maida and then kneed again. Feel the dough, if there are any sandy particles, flatten and kneed the dough with the inside of your palm. - Once done with the kneeding, separate the dough into two equal halves. - In one half, mix the Cocoa/Drinking Chocolate powder. - Make equal number of balls of the white dough and brown dough. In my case, we could make 13 pairs. - Carefully take a brown ball and a white ball, and start rolling them in your palm to make a single ball. - In a pan boil the water and add sugar into it. When it starts to boil, remove the foam on top carefully and continue boiling. - Start adding one ball at a time at the center of the pan. Do not over-crowd the pan, if required make in batches. - Boil for 15 mins in low-medium heat. - Remove from pan and serve hot or cold
