**Mabel Understudy Needed for THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE by Gilbert & Sullivan in Pacifica, CA** MABEL (Soprano Bb3 - Db6, looks 18-21 yrs old) Daughter of the Major-General. Mabel is a classic beauty. An astute young woman, she is sympathetic in nature. She and Frederic fall in love. AUDITION REQUIREMENTS *Song: Bring 16-32 bar cut of music either from the show or in the style of the show (bring sheet music in your correct key for songs not in show, accompanist will be provided) *Please bring to the audition a resume and a calendar with list of potential conflicts. Availability will affect casting decisions. *Understudy is strongly preferred to also be a Daughter in the ensemble for all performances *Understudy is guaranteed at least one performance as Mabel in one show (date tbd) Rehearsals are in progress on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 7-10pm, with occasional Saturday or Sunday rehearsals as needed near Tech Week.
