*Macon County Weather Briefing for Saturday, December 6, 2014* Today will be a rainy day as a low pressure system drags a cold front across the county today. A brief dry cold pressure will set up tonight through Monday and a cold front is expected to speed through Tuesday followed by another high pressure from Wednesday through Friday. *IN THE NEWS* The Franklin Panthers fell last night in the 4th round of the State 2AA playoffs to the East Lincoln Mustangs 31-21. The manhunt to our south in Rabun County came to a non-violent end as the fugitives were apprehended in a field on Yorkhouse Road in Mountain City.
