Madden update: just went to pick her up. Took longer than I thought because the dr had an emergency come in. Procedure actually took less than 30 minutes as they only had to give her a local! Her pressure went from a super high of 70 this morning to an outstanding 9 after the procedure!! Cone of shame not allowing her to get comfy or walk since her head is always down to sniff... Said we can take it off later after we get in the house & can watch to make sure she doesnt rub it. Recheck next Tuesday unless we feel shes in pain again. Got Tramadol & Meloxicam for pain & swelling as well as Oxytetracycline ointment to ward off infection (plus still take her other 5 drops). Paws & fingers crossed this works!! I dont want to have to remove her eye, but we will if it comes down to it! Anything to keep her pain free & happy!! Continued prayers & drool if yall dont mind! 🐾💋🙏
