Maddie update day 14; Maddie did good this weekend. Her lungs have not gotten worse and she is able to cough with the assistance of her nurses. She constantly asks for food and hopefully tomorrow they can start feeding her, if the muscle that closes the passage way to here lungs when she swallows is functional. She is bumming that she missed the race today and that her 2 favorite teams lost ( LSU and Saints). Maddie is now in a great deal of pain and you can see it in her expressions. It causes me a lot of stress seeing her like this knowing I can do nothing to help her. She read my face book and text messages today and wants to thank her family, friends, and LACC family for all the support and prayers. God bless you all!
