Made it home by 5:30 today, two days of driving from Tampa, Florida, and mid 80s to Talihina, Oklahoma, and 33 !! Snow expected tomorrow. Started out in Georgia visiting Justin and seeing his awesome collection of animals and birds, such a nice set up and so organized! Had a good time at the ZAA conference (Zoological Assoc. Of America), in Pensacola, then down to Tampa and visited Johns new facility. He has a super collection of birds and antelope. Thursday spent at Busch Gardens. What a great place to spend a day in gorgeous sunny weather. Hated to have to cut our vacation short but between a broken water line and losing two zoo animals to the unexpected freezing weather we just headed home.
