Made it up the M6 to Liverpool by 0900. Lara is now successfully installed on the ward. Has a cannula in, had pre-surgery MRI to map vital pathways (i.e. The bits to miss), seen by the Nuerosurgeon and consent signed. Surgery will be first thing tomorrow (Thursday) morning, and last 8 - 12 hours. Also met another patient on the ward with a similar tumor in a similar position and they have nothing but praise for the surgeon - thats encouraging!
