Madonna sends a very important message in this short film. Beautiful work, using dance as a metaphor of fight for the right of creativity and the whole idea of Madonna in jail for speaking out her mind, is great. The only thing that pops out is that it might seem like this all is about Madonna, and all the problems in the world about her too, and whats important is to see the world through Madonnas eyes. That takes the truth away. But still Madonna is open here and she is true. Madonna did very much for the society, she fought for the freedom of self-expression, she fought and fights for gay rights, and many other things. Very long way, good self-control, all the listening and understanding, millions hours of work. Madonna never sleeps. About the project. There are many scary things going on in the world, oppression and violence, the intolerance and discrimination, and all it takes the beginning in human nature. We are animals, we all were born with cruelty. We all have scary thoughts and fantasies at some point. Its natural. But we have brain too, so lets use it! If we put more effort on intellectual work and will start think and analyze, if we will start make some conclusions and predict the consequences of whatever we do, then yeah we might become more tolerant. I wish there was no violence, no oppression, no discrimination. If the human nature is not perfect, we have all the tools to correct it. Is it possible? I dont know how far Madonna is ready to go for it, and hopefully as far as it takes. But I clearly know, I can start with me. Love and respect. Once youll master empathy for yourselves its going to become very natural to have empathy for the people around you.
