Madressah Zeenatul Islam, Kuntaur, Gambia was set up by Caravan of Mercy using funds donated by the public. Molana Ebrahim (CoM Director) is scheduled to attend the ceremony awards there, where the students will recieve an annual recognition for their efforts. The visit will also oversee the setting up of years 10, 11, 12 for both Islamic as well as secular subjects. Caravan of Mercy still provide funds to the school for day to day runnings. While in the country, approximately 700 families will be given food for Ramadhan through the current appeal here in the UK. This will include 500 families in the Central Region region and 200 families in the Kombo region which is 250 miles from the capital. The trip commenced on the 2nd of July and will finish on the 9th. God willing.
