Mae wants to know what you would gave done in this situation: I stopped to eat at a tex mex restaurant in my town the other day. I was by myself and I got a water and a taco plate. The food was good and so was the service. Heres the catch: when I went to pay the total was $9.95 and I gave her a $20 and she brought me back $9.05 instead of $10.05. I dont know if she made a mistake and miscounted or just didnt have enough and thought it would be okay since I was going to tip anyways. I didnt say anything but instead of leaving her a $5 tip I left $4. What would you have done? Would you have said something?
