Maggie is a sweet little black dog. She found on the streets of Orangeburg starving to death. She has every worm imaginable, she is anemic and has open sores from severe mange all over her little body. None of this pain she has suffered, stopped her will to live. Several caring individuals searched for her day and night until finally she was just too weak to move. We got her to a vet Wednesday night. Her worms, mange and sores are all treatable. Her treatments will have tremendous financial cost. But any animal that has suffered as much as she has suffered deserves a chance at life. She deserves to know love and to someday be a part of a family. Second Chance of Orangeburg Animal Rescue Coalition is paying the cost of her treatment, in hopes that we can recover those cost and pay for another sweet souls treatment when the time comes. We know Maggie is only one of hundreds if not thousands on the street suffering in the same way. We will try to help, one animal at a time.
