Magna Carta Page 9 God only reveals Himself (or Herself) to those who humble themselves before Her, acknowledging His greatness and supremacy over us. But God will love us as Her children, because this is the truth of our being. To definitely and undoubtedly find God, one must have the correct attitude of respect, humility, trust and confidence in Gods goodness and love towards us. Conceit in Gods presence during prayer will not achieve a response or the desired result from the Cosmic Mind. Pride, Egoism, egotism inferiority or superiority complex is also the result of identifying ourselves with the body of flesh or sense-identification instead of as reflections of the Holy Trinity or Sat-Chit-Ananda. Desire was designed by Satan (or Maya in Buddhism and ancient Indian Sanskrit) to cause pain and suffering. But desire is only an erroneous concept or just an idea and is an energy vortex like a black hole which strips us of energy by giving it attention. For, where attention goes, energy flows. Have you noticed that when you are in pain or suffering, that time drags and can be eternal but that time flies when you are having fun and are happy? Because space-time is also an illusion. Only God exists. There is no space nor time, only God, only energy, only joy. Time is only forces in motion which is only relevant to the observer, because it leaves impressions on our brain cells as memories or the past. Happiness is a matter of perspective. Is the glass half full or half empty? St. Paul in the New Testament claimed to have discovered the secret of contentment in all circumstances Philippians 4:11-13. Time is the consciousness of pain, and time is only forces in motion, beheld by the still consciousness and imprinted upon the physical brain as memory. Awareness of time and pain and the space between its commencement and termination is dependent upon on either an abundance of energy or the lack of energy like a battery. This is the reason why time passes so quickly while we are sleeping. It is because the pranas of the 5 senses are returning to the heart, spine and brain, and are being recharged by being submerged into the ocean of the Spirit in the subconscious (astral) and casual bodies, which are closer to the Unified Field, Spirit or Source or ocean of prana which is Cosmic Consciousness or God. The levels of consciousness are : waking consciousness, subconsciousness, superconsciousness, Christ-Consciousness, and Cosmic Consciousness or the Unified Field. Gods nature is contentment, bliss, or joy, which is the Ananda or Spirit and when we withdraw our 5 astral energies or pranas from the 5 senses and reverse them back into the heart and spine and brain thru meditation or sleep, we are recharging them in the spiritual ocean of the energy of the universe. A similar experience of inspiration and energization is achieved during the wakeful state of consciousness during Kriya yoga meditation, or during a form of yoga known as Karma Yoga. Karma yoga is similar to the Biblical instructions of doing continuous good deeds out of universal sympathy and universal empathy in order to please God and evolve spiritually. Universal Sympathy is a path that leads to an experience in Cosmic Consciousness according to SRF. It is helping others with God-consciousness or the thought that you are doing good deeds to serve and please God or Christ in the form of other people. When we do all things in life with the attitude that we are serving God, we will notice that we have a connection to an apparent endless source or fountain of inner energy or inspiration (John10:10). Then you realize that we are indeed living in a Universe of energy. Calmness must be a part of our spiritual disciplines and is actually the goal of yoga. Calmness to the point of breathlessness during meditation. For, fixity of attention on the spiritual eye to perceive it, or for any other type of concentration, depends upon slow breath, or holding our breath. Breathlessness is another yogic discipline. It is not impossible if we oxygenate our blood sufficiently thru breathing exercises and a vegetable diet which is part of the yoga discipline and assists in celibacy, which is conducive to complete concentration. We exist in a universe or ocean of energy. The universe was not made out of nothing, as some people may say (spiritual babes 1 Peter 2:2). The universe was made out of subtle energy that is imperceivable to our senses. This accounts for the law of reciprocity. To take, one must replace, and if you place, you may take. That is why Jesus said that it is better to give than to receive. Everything has a price and requires a sacrifice. Something cannot be made from nothing. This principle is demonstrated by the fact that you cannot extract water from a container which does not possess a ventilation. Sin is robbing God (Malachi 3:8) of service (Thy will be done on earth Matthew 6:10) and must be compensated for as indicated in this Bible verse: Jesus Christ appeared, to pay for sin, by sacrificing Himself (Hebrews9:26).
