Main stream parties , NC responsible for genocide in Kashmir: Geelani Srinagar, Sep 09: Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani has said that CRPF personnel involved in Shopian killing deserve death penalty and should be executed in public. Referring to the statement of Farooq Abdullah wherein he had denied any probe in Shopian killing, Geelani said pro-occupation political parties and National Conference are responsible for genocide in Kashmir and added that National Conference is playing a bestial and lead role for the massacre of innocents in Kashmir. Calling for’’ Shopian Challo “on Tuesday sep 10,Syed Ali Shah Geelani in his appeal to people of District Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian said that a condolence meeting will be held and a protest demonstration will be organized against the brutal killings of four youths. While emphasizing authorities, Syed Ali Geelani asked to remove restrictions and lift curfew from Shopian and adjoining areas and while lamenting at Umer Abdullah administration, said that youth In Kashmir are soft target for Indian forces and they kill them without any justification and on the other hand Umer Abdullah led administration does not allow to wail and mourn over the dead bodies of our innocent youth. Geelani expressed his dismay over the statement of Farooq Abdullah, and sharply reacted and said that pro-occupation parties are responsible for genocide in Kashmir and National Conference has always stabbed in back and played a malicious role. He said that international community though pleaded for probe in excesses perpetrated by Indian forces but for the National Conference, that always come to the rescue of forces and create hurdles. They are pleading the case for India and it is their lust for power that they won’ hesitate to kill even last Kashmiri for their selfish interest. They are responsible for the present state of affairs and the state of slavery the nation face, said Syed Ali Geelani. Till now and since last 8 months 22 youths were brutally killed and added neither an inquiry was initiated nor any forces personell involved was arrested or brought to justice. Hurriyat chairman expressed his anguish over the callous approach adopted by Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah and added that Instead of accepting moral responsibility for brutal killings and tender their resignation, they were busy and making arrangements for music concert at Shalimar and added that they in an arrogant way denied any inquiry and added that shameless duo blamed mourners of politicizing the deaths in Shopian. How long Kashmiri would recover dead bodies of their youths and shoulder their coffins, asked Syed Ali Shah Geelani and added till how long the traitor like Omar and Farooq Abdullah will defend these killers. Reiterating his call for Shopian Challo Syed Ali Geelani said that bereaved families of those four killed will also participate in condolence meeting and eyewitnesses for the said incident will make their statements public Syed Ali Gilani lamented at international community for their silence and said that human rights situation in Kashmir is gloomy and their criminal silence has added to the woes and encouraged Indian forces . People in Kashmir are being killed in brutal manner and human rights organizations have maintained silence, said Syed Ali Geelani. Strongly criticizing the Indian Media and Press, Syed Ali Shah Geelani said their approach is partial and are bias and added that they have proved that they play the role for “his master’s voice” and are mouth piece for communal sections like RSS. They can discuss the irrelevant matters but they have no time to see the youth being killed in Kashmir, Said Geelani.
