Mainak - I met him through a brother of mine Souvik. Since then we had a good journey till now , discussing movie topics, music related stuffs, what to do and what not to do. He always came to me with his queries and even though I have less knowledge on film related topics he listens to my opinions and my advises. Budding young talent from Kolkata , and he came up with a script one day , naming it Nishobdo. When I heard the script I found it interesting and very challenging. He always had a question from the very first day, Ami korte parbo toh? Hobe to Alex da? I always believed in him and I gave him my support as much as I can. He had this urge to move forward regardless of all the hurdles and struggles, which is needed for artists. With constant support from Satyaki , who selflessly dedicated all his time and energy undertaking a huge role of management and arranging the necessary requirements for the crew along with on and off the screen issues. Collaborated with my good pal Aritra and another young talent Chandreyee for songs and music related works. I thank you all for being a part of this short film , Nishobdo, which is going to release on 17th of January, 2015 at Ahindra Mancha. Must thank other members as well , Kunal Shirsita Dipan , Mahi, Partha, Soumen jetthu, Bani Aunty . Obviously my childhood friend Romit and Rajat uncle, who accepted to be a part of this film and support us , encouraging us to move forward.
