Maintain your spiritual position in Christ.When you are in your spiritual position of prayer and praising God, there is nothing that can be thrown at you that can overwhelm you. You have the hand of God in your life, and we are called to not shrink back, as those who have no faith, but to stand on the promises of God. A little something extra for you from Pastor Randy: The Hand of God In John 4:24 is says that God is Spirit; Yet many passages speak of the Hand of God; which means that God in Spirit is active, personal and Real. What does the bible say about the Hand of God? 1. The Hand of God Creates -- Is: 45:12 ... my own hands stretched out the heavens; Psalm 139:13, 14 ... you created my intermost being .. I am fearfully and wonderfully made; God made each of us and everything else. 2. The Hand of God is Powerful -- Numbers 11:23 -- Josh 4:24 ... the Hand of the Lord is powerful. Gods hand is NOT short. 3. The Hand of God Provides -- Everything -- life, food, shelter, etc. Psalm 145:15, 16 ... you open your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. (George Mueller operated an orphanage by Prayer -- When they had nothing -- he prayed and believed and God met their needs) 4. The Hand of God delivers -- God told Moses to stretch forth his hand in Ex: 15:11. Gods hands delivers from danger, harm, despair, anger, brokenness, bad relationships, additions, etc. 5. The Hand of God Instructs -- Ex: 31 God gave the 10 commandments and in verse 18 ... inscribed by the finger of God -- God is the Moral leader of the Universe 6. The Hand of God Disciplines -- Hebrews 12:6 ... the Lord disciplines those he loves. Psalm 32:6 ... day and night your hand was heavy upon me. Ive learned that when Im hurt or when I fail; in the hard times thats when I mature. The discipline hand of God helps us grow up and become happy and effective. 7. The Hand of God Cares -- Psalm 37:24 We will not fall for the Lord holds him in his hand. God gives strength, his ear is never shuts, His arm never tires. 8. The Hand of God Leads -- Psalm 139: 9, 10 ... even there your hand will guide me. God brings people together so that they can find the Lord. God leads us through the dark valleys. 9. The Hand of God brings security -- Psalm 95:1 Come let us sing ... for the Lord is great ... In his hands for He is our God. 10. The Hand of God Invites -- We are prone to wonder; but God is always inviting us to come to Him. Is. 65:2 All day long I have held out my hand. -- God says come home, Im here.
