Maintenance Technician Education: Required High School Diploma Preferred AS, Electrical or Electronic Technology Years of Experience 3-5 years Specialized training or certifications (be specific): Master Electrician Certification Other skills/competencies required (communication skills, computer skills, customer service, etc. Required: Possess and maintain all personal tools required to perform various maintenance functions Preferred: Working knowledge of Allen Bradley , Motoman & Siemens or other Electronic based PLC/Robotic Programming and Troubleshooting Job Summary Support Manufacturing and production needs by understanding and conducting necessary design, fabrication, installation and repair of manufacturing equipment to ensure conformance to customer requirements while seeking continuous improvement processes. Electrical Requirements: • Know and perform electrical installations meeting NEC requirements; work with AC/DC Voltage, Single and Three Phase, 0-600 volts. Troubleshoot equipment with use of test equipment. • Program and troubleshoot PLC and Robotic controlled equipment Mechanical Requirements: • Perform machine installation, fabrication and repair involving general mechanical techniques such as Plumbing, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Rigging and Machinery moving, Carpentry, PM Services and Buildings and grounds Pneumatic & Hydraulic Requirements: • Understand and utilize proper use of pneumatic and hydraulics including valves and piping; perform installations meeting code requirements Design & build machines: • Develop, read and revise Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic schematics and /or machine blueprints to build, install or change machine designs while meeting code requirements • Perform maintenance/machinist requirements to include mill and lathe operations within acceptable tolerances • Know and meet all OSHA and Ergonomic Regulations within design.
