Maisie signed up for our Tanzanian expedition just over 4 weeks before it was due to depart. She’s told us was it was like being a last minuter. “For me expedition was a huge, snap decision. It was a scary thing to do, but really good. The hardest thing was the fundraising but I just kept talking to head office – everyone was lovely and I got some great advice and support on how to raise the funds. Don’t be worried about joining an expedition at the last minute - youre probably not going to be the only one, and the training in-country is great so youre not on the back foot compared to anyone who signed up 18 months in advance.”
