Major Guilt-Tripping Rant Addressed to All Kids and Their Parents - TopicsExpress

Major Guilt-Tripping Rant Addressed to All Kids and Their Parents Who Were in Be In Your Own Band When I Was Volunteering. My beloved 21-year-old son, Lucas killed himself with a rifle on March 10 2013. Apparently he believed that we are all alone and life is meaningless. I am not recovering well, and as a consequence, am alienated from most of my family and friends. I am on unemployment. Yet I have taken a minute to Like the Idylmusic Facebook page. And I have invested $50 in their project. I have known two of the founders for 25 years. It is not a pyramid scheme. It is a brilliant, ethical, legal scheme for sharing music and supporting both aspiring and established musicians, and their fans. Its about imagining that whether its true or not, we are not all alone and life is not meaningless as long as we share music. I expect every Be In Your Own Band alumni to cough up $10 for this project. Thats what I expect. This means you, Nat Condit-Schultz, Jeremy Cross, Keshav Singh, Patrick Andrews, Josi Mason, and scores of others (I still have the set lists from your performances…I know who you are :-). Not to mention any kid who I helped lug amps and drum sets and stands and drove back to pick up missing cables (always!), for gigs out in the boonies, or to theatre productions. Yeah, this means you, James Durbin, too, even though you caught (a well-deserved!!!) break. https://facebook/idylmusic?ref=br_tf rockethub/projects/34596-artists-fans-take-back-the-music-biz-together-idylmusic-com
