Make Beautiful // August Welcome to August and another month of the Make Beautiful project! As many of you are aware, Ive had the distinct privilege of collaborating closely with several individuals over the past few months in the production of the monthly lists, and this month I had the honor of working with a long-time contributor to the project, Ger van den Elzen. What most of you do not readily see, though, is the amount of thought, conceptualization, writing, and editing that goes into the production of not only the initial list but the subsequent daily advertisements. Inspired by Gers beautifully introspective essay that set the tone for our explorations of this month and Xenia Silva-Gascs creative thinking, I will for the first time also be publishing segments of the writing that inspires these monthly lists!
