Make More Money off of the Government Shut Down! Lake Havasu City may get Much More Crowded this year! With the govt Shut down, AKA Pissing contest, as some of us know most of the Colorado river from Davis Dam aka Katherines Landing, North and including Hover Dam, AKA Lake Mead north is all closed. Snow Birds can go where they want,... but why would any go to a place with no water activities? Well,... If you are renting your place out, the premium you charge may have just gone up due to the government. Ya see, I like to see the positive spin on these things. You might as well make a bigger profit when you rent out your home. On another note, just knowing the FEDS cant shut down Lake Havasu makes me feel like we a leg up on some of our neighbors.
