Make a difference for the young (rangatahi) members of the MDA!! The voice of the young person is really important to the MDA. Stacey Christie has done an amazing job of being the young (rangatahi) representative on the National Council. We want to make the MDA more accessible and relevant to our young members and to be able to do this we need your help. We are looking for 16 -24 year old volunteers who have a keen interest in forming and joining Stacey on a Youth Council. This Council will be responsible for recommending the strategic direction of the MDA with regard to youth and related service improvements. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference that will be both challenging and rewarding. It’ll be something you could include on your CV – demonstrating both leadership potential and a positive interest in other people.
