Make my own laundry detergent? I dont have time for that! Make my own cleaning products... maybe! Im extremely picky about my cleaning products... I only like green works, I use clorox wipes for quick stuff, and baking soda/vinegar. I have little boys and no matter how often I cleaned their bathroom (usually daily) I could never get rid of the pee smell!! I turned to Google for help one day and it solved my problem (google always has the answer) of course! I found a recipe for a paste to make that you smear on and around the toilet that worked great. I havent had a problem since... that was as far as making my own cleaning products went though. I was on some mom page and found a mattress stain and odor remover that I tried yesterday and if you have kids it is a must.... 8 oz of hydrogen peroxide, 3 tbsp of baking soda, and a drop of dish liquid in a good spray bottle (do not shake.) Spray it on, let it dry, and vacuum excess baking soda off if you have any. Do not save what is left! Make it as you need it. Last night during my insomnia I tried the tile and shower scrub from the same page and that is what I will use from now on also. My tubs and sinks looked so much cleaner and shinier than it usually does with my store bought cleaner.
