Make new plants from geraniums, coleus, and other tender - TopicsExpress

Make new plants from geraniums, coleus, and other tender perennials that you brought indoors this winter. Take 4- to 6-inch cuttings to root. Strip off the bottom set of leaves, dip the cut ends in rooting hormone powder, and stick the cuttings in a pot filled with moistened potting soil. Set cuttings in bright light but not direct sun and keep the soil moist. They should root in a few weeks, giving you new plants to set outside once the danger of frost is past.
