You know what saves the lives of shelter pets? Adoption, education, networking, transporting, fostering, low-cost spay neuter programs - all of these are PROVEN TO SAVE LIVES. Yes, even in high volume municipal open-admission (some of you like to say they are kill shelters), shelter directors and staff who refuse to kill simply because some bogus numbers say they have to, are finding new and innovative ways to SAVE MORE.
