Make your kids aware, life is to be lived, really lived.... Dont toy with something as precious as the gift of life. As parents we need to stay tuned in to the changing trends that our kids are exposed to. We used to say the world is such a big place. But the with all the technology our kids dont have to go out and explore the world. The world is coming in closer to our kids. We talk to our kids. Im sure this Mom did too. Her Son had been grounded Im sure she was trying to give him boundaries, to teach him, to guide him and love him. This breaks my heart for her, her family and for all her son will never be. Im one of those Moms when our kids have a bad day, maybe dont receive the best grade on a test or do something that disappoints, we give them the I Love You Best Plate the same as when they achieve their great accomplishments. It doesnt mean our kids dont have accountability for their actions. It means we dont belittle, it means we teach by loving our kids. Kirk Mahaffey & Rachael L. You and all your friends are on the edge of the greatest accomplishments to come.... I do not doubt your success in this world or capabilities to make great decisions. What I doubt after reading yet another loss of life, is whether the rest of the world is really taking a stand against things like this from occurring. So use me, let me be the bad guy. Be the difference, be the change, start a new trend.... And have your friends follow you into the future and not left lying in the past. And everyone, hug your kids 10 extra times today.
