Makes me cry everytime!!!! Having a husband who runs a homeless shelter is not all that its cracked up to be....I personally have had to sacrifice much that on most days I dont want to. There was one time I went looking for my brand new leather jacket and couldnt find it anywhere. I said Tyler have you seen my coat. And he stayed silent and pretended he didnt hear me. I was pissed. To say the least. I knew he gave it away. He said it was in the car and it was all he had to give to a young mom who was living in the woods. He proceeded to tell me Melissa I promise you will get another jacket like that one if you want it. I went to the closet grabbed another one and left mad because I didnt have the coat I wanted to wear. But you know what???? I had a coat. And now so did someone else......while I have always thought I do good and dont mind giving. (I mean. I had always packed up all my unwanted stuff and dropped it at a local place that could use it) I really need to take the time to say thank you to Tyler and all those I have met along the way for teaching me the true meaning of giving. Its being able to put someone elses needs above your wants. Knowing the best gift you can give is time and a smile to so many that have nothing and noone.
