Makes me think of what started my own lawsuit against UM. Professor Carl Cohen - a longtime philosophy professor at UM, NAACP member & ACLU member - back in the early 90s requested to see the admission policy. UM officials told him to go away and that he didnt want to open that can of worms. Numerous FOIA requests later, he finally got his hands on that policy...and it became clear why they didnt want it to see the light of day: two separate policies with glaringly different results based solely on an applicants skin color would not be popular with the public. They say sunlight is the best disinfectant - I hope this suit does just that.
