Making chicken,sausage & bacon soup....boil a rotisserie chicken carcass(saving whatever meat is leftover first)to make stock,pick the meat from the bones(being sure to share some with the cats) & add it to the stock along with the leftover chicken meat,sautee some bacon(Ithink my package was 12 oz) & 3 lumberjack sausages,drain & add to the stock...add a package(about a pound I think) of frozen soup vegetables(with okra,if possible)along with a small package of diced onions & peppers,& some sliced mushrooms.....season to taste....I think I will add an envelope of garlic & herb soup mix....also 1/3 of a can of beer....the remaining beer should be applied to the cook....I also dumped some leftover mac & cheese into it....why not? Add the veg toward the end of the process so that they stay somewhat crisp....Junior Chef Snowflake was supervising(& trying to steal the bacon package while I was cutting the bacon into squares)..... she is on the Pharoahs team where smoked schweine is concerned......
