Total Time: Around 3 and half hour 1-Lightroom Part: Imported all the RAW 10 shots Sync the White balance and some local settings like exposure, contrast etc exported these files in 8bit tiff format 2- Panorama Stitching: Open all the 10 tiff shots in PTGui software Used Rectilinear layout Mask some unwanted parts Save the final file as PSD with merged layer 3- Photoshop Part Open the PSD file in Photoshop and apply level Crop and balance the image Copy the layer and converted to Black & white using Color Efex pro (Photoshop filter Plugin) Used viveza 2 (Photoshop filter Plugin) to add different control point to adjust exposure, shadow and highlights (almost 10+ control points) Again Used color Efex pro for the Details extraction and pro contrast. Apply the Dark gradient mask for Road exposure Apply surface blur on new layer to reduce the noise. Masking: Make a duplicate layer, Choose colour Range from Select Menu. with eye droper click on the sky and changed the Fuzines from colour range dilog box. switch to the Channels palette. Click the save selection as channel button, it’s the second one to the left on the bottom of the channels palette. A new alpha channel will now be visible. Press “Ctrl/Cmd+D” to Deselect and click on Alpha 1 in the channels palette. The main window will now turn black and white, to fine tune the selection without effecting the original image. Hold Cmd(Ctrl PC) and click on the Alpha 1 thumbnail. Click on RGB to see the color image. Open the layers palette. Select the working layer and press the Delete key .The to remove masked area of the backround. (also applied some custom tweeking to properly select the Area to remove, this technique is very usefull image you image have flate sky) Used the stock sky coverted into black and white and masked it. Remove unwanted oject( people and someother things) using Healing patch tool and Eraser Again use the Silver Efex pro Efex pro (Photoshop filter Plugin) for Final touch used Low key 2 from present, change the contrast and structure upto tast. add control point to brighten the Image Apply the Radial Granent on Layer mask only to keep the building bright and image edges dark Lastly apply the Unsharp filter and high pass for sharpness.
