There is a difference between hunting errors & between correcting them, for the first falls under fault-finding, fame and satisfaction & the second falls under explaining advice with truth. The difference between fault-finding and advising is enormous, as it is also enormous between what is for the self & what is for Allah. From seen experience is that the fault-finders who make others famous with errors; the table turns on them & they fall into the hole dug for the faulted ones. Verily the mature mind is never roused by a doubt that the tongue & pen of a person are the slogans of his reality & his sense. Surely it is known by occurred proof that an individuals following of the slips of others is caused due to bad knowledge or bad intention, and the first is corruption in thought while the second is in corruption in the heart Surely life is shorter than any of us hope for & from an individuals oppression of his self is to apportion a large portion of his time in pursuit of others, which harms & does not benefit. Whoever fixes his eyes on the faults of others is blinded of his own faults Why do people insist on being like flies, not sitting except on wounds or like the mosquito not drinking except blood?! Why do people not delight except in back- biting, slandering, defamation, blaming, suspicion of intentions and ripping of the hearts?! There is no goodness in he who does not advise, & there is no goodness in he who does not accept advice.
