Malachis journey really began when we first discovered that there were problems at his 12 week scan. We are now at 19 weeks. Seven short weeks. A blink of an eye in the big scheme of things but during those seven weeks we have been through every range of human emotion. We have had highs such as finding out our baby is a boy and giving him a name, feeling him move, listening to his heartbeat. We have also had some lows. Very low like today. Well we have both thought about termination today but I cant just tell my son that I am sorry I couldnt make a good enough body for you so you have to go back. Of all those souls waiting to be born and all those parents they could be born to, Malachi chose us to be his parents. I believe there is a reason for that and I dont think we know what it is yet. We will continue until we find out. After all, this is Malachis journey.
