Malawi Congress Party President Lazarus Chakwera has again vowed to usher the party into the government next year. Speaking in Kasungu where he held his first rally, Chakwera said his confidence is coming from the fact that the party will sell new ideologies to the electorate in the lead up to the election. He said the party’s manifesto will focus on improving education standards, health care and revamping the agricultural sector. Chakwera urged the party’s sympathizers to be democratic and win back trust of Malawians after the atrocities committed its 30-year rule. He also paid tribute to the country’s first President Kamuzu Banda for developing the country. t.co/1ctUOD9E7s
