Malaysian drivers like to tail-gate (meaning, driving very close - TopicsExpress

Malaysian drivers like to tail-gate (meaning, driving very close to your cars bumper at 90 km/hr) when they drive. I offer a few explanations: 1) They are newly minted drivers who still cant shake off the way they drive at amusement centres. 2) They are kopi-O drivers who grease some palms to pass their drivers licence and never really study their highway code. 3) They like to drive trains but our country offers not such opportunities so they dive at high speed bumper to bumper in a highway to resemble a train in motion. 4) Their life lack excitement so they seek cheap thrill by driving inches away from the car in front so they can mimic the action of the driver in front. 5) Our petrol is heavily subsidised so they can afford to waste petrol by constantly applying the brake whenever the car in front slow down. 6) The herd mentality also applies on the road so Malaysian drivers like to drive in convoy. 7) They suffer from low blood pressure so they need the excitement of anticipating the every move of the driver in front to up their blood pressure.
