Malo ni Tokelau Hutt Valley, The Hutt City Council promotes $10,000 scholarships available each year for secondary and tertiary students in the Hutt district. There is a Centennial Scholarship for any student who intends to study at WELTEC of $5,000, a Pacific (PACIFICA funded) scholarship of $4,000 for tertiary studies, and a Petone Borough of $1,000 for a Hutt Valley High Year 13 school leaver.
