Mama question: Please post anonymously. Thank you. I am a single mother to an ebf five month old beautiful baby girl. She is at a stage where she suffers terrible separation anxiety when I leave. Its gotten to the point where nobody else can even hold her. I only work about fifteen hours a week, and when I do, her paternal grandmother watches her. I was noticing that my daughters behavior at the breast has been odd lately. Well tonight I found out that grandma has been putting the baby to her breast to try and calm her. 1. Its weird. and 2. This woman takes a TON of medication. Blood thinners, anxiety pills, muscle relaxers, migraine pills, morphine and hydocodone for pain. If she lactates, even a drop, she could grievously harm my child. And theres always nipple confusion. Am I wrong for telling her she cant watch her anymore? I cant trust her not to do it again. How can I bring this up to her? This is the only grandparent my lo has left. Please help! Aimee
