Man, I dont all the specifics of just how, why or what is at the root of all this, but I do know that this shit is wrong and unnecessary. Granted, I havent seen any Jewish films featuring their graphic losses, (bombs on busses, rockets released into Israel, etc.) but theres got to be some kind of solution to quell this kind of violence and abject sorrow from happening. You dont have to see too much of this to have a degree of sympathy towards the Palestinian plight. But there again, violence begets violence. More people need to bear witness to such horrors so theyll have a degree of compassion when it comes time to talk things through. Im reminded of Ulysses S. Grants aversion to bloody meat and how the sight of it sickened him. Hed seen far too much gore to be reminded of it. Same deal with Robert E. Lee when he said, It is well that war is so terrible, or we should grow too fond of it.”
