Man, I just bit the tip of my tongue hardcore. Ergh. Kasmeh, you know that beautiful crunching sound, that excruciating shot of pain and then this pathetic open mouth look right after as if youre expecting something to fall out? That. =D Then I started looking for the reason for this outrage, and recalled Mums best lines as well as adding a bit of my own masalah to it: - forget to say bismillah? (me) - enjoying the food too much? (mum) - talking whilst eating? (mum) - eating and not making shukr throughout? (me) - you didnt take my advice earlier on xyz? (mum) - shouldnt be reading whilst eating? (me) - youre eating haram (!) (mum) - eating too fast (me) Whats the best ones from your culture? And does someone have the universally accepted reason why we bite our tongues during eating?
