Man I just got to share my good fortune with ya all! I have had so many fine friends get involved with our Talent In The Getto, Cable access, TV show lately, and we are picking up loads of venues and sponsors, which only helps us to keep it up and offer an outlet for all of our friends with talent! So far it has been Gae, Myself, and a few other friends that have been keeping us alive, and It was killing us, but I am so glad we kept going! We now are going to start a project that we call Facebook musicians and friends, helping musicians and friends, and this came about when a fellow musician told me he needed a kidney transplant! Well I asked for help on the network, and everybody came to the rescue! We are having a big fundraising bash at the Woodburn Eagle lodge, October Twelve, and we have had a gigantic outpouring of musicians and bands willing to help! We are going to run music for forty five minutes, then we will auction donated items for fifteen minutes while the musicians regroup! We already have almost three hundred dollars donated to our projects, and picked up two more TV venues to run our shows on! The first charity that friends and myself organized was in 1964 at the Woodburn Armory when we decided to buy hearing aids for the deaf school, didnt make all that much money, but we sure gave an effort for a bunch of teen age kids! The biggest was in 1980 for the Terry Dean Show, a little boy needed surgery, and we raised $28000.00 with the help of many great acts volunteering their time! I just had to share my good fortune with you, i truly feel like a king, all because of support from my friends, love ya all!
