Man United are looking at Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho & Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti to replace Moyes [Sky Italia] Sky Italia’s inside-man Gianluca Di Marzio has delivered a bombshell on his blog on Tuesday following David Moyes’ sacking from Manchester United. Di Marzio, known for his reliability in getting transfer gossip first, has written a throwaway line in a post in which he claims Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti are the top targets for the new boss at Old Trafford. Di Marzio made the comment in an article updating his followers on the interim appointment of Ryan Giggs as United manager until the end of the season. The Sky Italia journalist simply wrote “[Giggs] will replace David Moyes, until the end of the season. Then ideas: Ancelotti and Mourinho.” Over on Calcio Mercato the story was further fleshed out, with the comment: Jose is in fact thinking about United, for the next season . It is not the first time… Mourinho has never hidden his desire to be in charge one day at United. Whether Jose Mourinho would ditch Chelsea for United seems doubtful, however that’s not to say it couldn’t happen.
