Man f the world cup seriously. I normally follow it loosely and watch a few games. I dont want to be a killjoy either but cultural indigenous peoples sites have been evicted/destroyed for car parks and Ive seen the pictures of the homeless street children lying dead in pools of blood after being shot to sanitise the area for the games, Ive seen the pics of a room full of people kneeling with their backs to the wall as a firing squad takes them. I havent posted the pics because I dont believe in thrusting pics of dead people especially kids on people. Google it and youll find them or I can PM them you on request. Over a million people took to the streets in Brazil today to protest over their government, public services and the cost of the world cup and theyve killed a teenage girl who was demonstrating - so I cant in all conscience even watch any of the games on TV because Ill be thinking of the cost in human lives. So f the world cup! I think Emma summed it up for me too
