Man found with head injuries – North Nowra Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was found suffering critical head injuries at Nowra yesterday. About 2pm (Tuesday 13 August), a member of the public found the man lying in front of the change rooms at the Sharman Park soccer fields in North Nowra. Emergency services were called and the 52-year-old man was taken to Shoalhaven District Hospital. He remains unconscious in a critical but stable condition. Police from Shoalhaven Local Area Command are investigating the incident and unclear as to how the man sustained his injuries. It is possible the man suffered his injuries as a result of a seizure but police want to rule out any foul play being involved. Anyone who saw the man in the vicinity of the soccer fields yesterday morning is urged to contact Shoalhaven Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
