Man oh man! What an amazing race! #RunDisney does it well...magically! Ive done a marathon in the rain in providence; the Rock and Roll. At that race they packed everything up due to the rain. NOT Disney! There were still many characters out on the course, music everywhere, volunteers cheering like Ive never heard before that late at night, the scenery was like a dream, the finishers medal is insanely fabulous...I could go on and on!! And to think...NONE of this would be here if it werent for a man and his idea of a mouse and his dream! NEVER give up on your dreams! EVER! Dreams are goals with deadlines! Write yours down today and GO AFTER THEM; step by step; day by day...just go after them! Over 14,000 started the race. 11941 finished. My place was 850. There were 7928 women finishers and my placement amongst the women was 260; number 49 for my age. Official time: 1:59:01 even stopped to pee and take pics with characters:) Once over 200 pounds and could barely run a mile...Super happy doesnt begin to describe it. #DisneyWineDine #HalfMarathon #ItAllStartedWithAMouseAndADream
