Man such a roller coaster of a ride these years have been. It has been a blessing to have been able to play the game I loved and have invested so much into for as long as I have. Definitely not the way I wanted it to end, but no matter the outcome of my last game played, win or lose, this sadness that its over and yearning to play another season would still be here. I know this hungry feeling of underachieving will fuel my fire for a successful future. I cannot begin to thank all the individuals that have made my years of playing football memorable and so meaningful to me, but to all of you thank you from the bottom of my heart. To my parents, Robert Diehl and Barb Schifler Diehl, you made it all possible and I am so thankful for all your support and encouragement in everything. Seriously blessed to have the best mother and father a man can ask for. Love you all. Football has helped mold me into the man I am today, and the lessons learned through this great sport will stay with me for a lifetime.
