Managed to make it home in time to collect/receive children tonight, despite a massive clusterf**k on Tranz Metros part (timing the arrival of a replacement bus to coincide precisely with the departure of an empty train going in one direction and a shuttle bus going in the other, leaving a bunch of annoyed, stranded passengers in their wake). Big thanks to the young Simon Pegg lookalike who gave a group of us a lift, going out of his way in the process!
