Manchester United & Arsenal boost in race for £100m new Zidane Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United appear to have been handed a substantial boost in the race to sign Remy Cabella, with Montpellier president Louis Nicollin seemingly suggesting that there will be opportunities for the player to depart the club during the summer. Cabella - who has been dubbed the new Zidane in some quarters - has mightily impressed since bursting onto the scene at Stade de la Mosson with dynamic attacking displays of the very highest order. You would have to ask my son [deputy chairman of Montpellier, Laurent Nicollin] about transfers. I am not aware of anything, Nicollon told Le 10 Sport in an interview that was quoted by the Daily Express. No, there was strong interest from OM [Marseille] last summer but we wanted to keep him. I welcome the attitude of Remy, who has talked of leaving and who understood our position. Hes a great player and there will be opportunities for him [to leave] next summer, he added. Such news would appear to be extremely welcome to both Arsene Wenger and David Moyes, with both Arsenal and Manchester United having been linked with a potential move for Cabella in recent months. The potential £15 million fee being rumoured to secure the players services would appear to be at odds with Nicollins own previous £100 million valuation of the player, though. While both Manchester United and Arsenal are evidently on the lookout for potential reinforcements, the two Premier League giants - despite their respective wealth - would surely baulk at such an exorbitant fee. Given the embarrassment of riches Wenger currently has available to him in the attacking midfield positions, it could be said that his interest in Cabella appears to be somewhat unnecessary. >ndia apapa apa
