Manchester United are edging closer towards completing a deal for Watford starlet Ogo Obi. The 16-year-old striker has impressed after arriving on trial at the Red Devils’ Carrington training base over a fortnight ago. And United extended his trial, so Obi could compete in the Milk Cup. Having notched three goals in four Milk Cup games, he’s now pressing a real claim for a contract at Old Trafford. Watford, who have offered Obi a scholarship and a one-year professional deal, would be entitled to a compensation fee of £130,000 if United to push through a deal for him. [Source: Mirror]
