Manchester Uniteds Belgian-born winger Adnan Januzaj is the best - TopicsExpress

Manchester Uniteds Belgian-born winger Adnan Januzaj is the best teenage player in European football, according to Italian newspaper Gazetta Dello Sport. The paper has compiled a list of the top 60 youngsters under the age of 20 playing in Europe, and have picked Januzaj ahead of Chelseas Brazilian forward Lucas Piazon, who is currently on loan in the Netherlands with Vitesse. Gerard Deulofeu, on loan at Everton from Barcelona came in at fourth, while Liverpools Raheem Sterling was fifth and Southampton left-back Luke Shaw eighth. The 19-year-old winger has burst onto the scene for David Moyes side this season, and, along with Wayne Rooney, has been one of the few players to emerge from the team with an improved reputation this campaign, though he has failed to recapture his early season form in recent weeks, in which he scored twice on his full debut against Sunderland in October. Januzaj has yet to decide on his international future, and could represent Belgium, Albania, Turkey, Serbia or even England. Only inclusions of note in the top 30 are incoming Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma in 16th, Tottenhams Nabil Bentaleb in 20th, and Dundee Uniteds 18-year-old midfielder Ryan Gauld in 22nd.
