Mandy Delaney being the bargain shopper she is, wanted to buy me a bottle of my favorite cologne, Polo Black. I was out! She shopped on line and found a new unopened bottle for around $50.00 on Ebay! An amazing bargain!.... We thought! The bottle arrived via postal service and the first thing she noticed was the box was wet! The bottle had leaked almost half its contents! She contacted seller immediately and they offered half the money back if she kept it OR, a full refund if she sent it back. When I got home, I inspected the bottle and noticed some major differences in every bottle Ive had before. Ive been wearing this cologne for 12 years or longer! First off, the bottle was purple, NOT BLACK. Also the bottle had some imperfections from the manufacturing process Id never seen before. Like the glass mold didnt fit well. Secondly, although it smelled a little like Polo Black, it didnt smell LIKE Polo Black. After reading up on this I found out that COUNTERFEIT COLOGNES AND PERFUMES ARE VERY, EXTREMELY COMMON ON EBAY! The first picture is the FAKE bought on Ebay. The second picture is the real stuff purchased from Belk in Corinth. Note that you can hardly see through the bottle of the REAL stuff! Buyer beware! Mandy sent the fake stuff back for the promised refund!
